HOWL: ART & LITERARY JOURNAL
Howl 2025
Howl: Art & Literary Journal is the voice of UNM-Taos. Howl represents the powerful voices of Taos and its diverse Northern New Mexico culture. Howl's voices are thunderous. They resonate with the interconnected chords that serve to unite our personal, academic, and common realms. Howl hums across borders and fences, penetrating the minds and hearts of all who are courageous enough to listen. Taos is a place situated in ancestral rhythms and lies between the Sangre de Cristo mountains and the deepest canyons in all of New Mexico. Perhaps the magnetic pull between these two is what draws us in and out of ourselves and has attracted so many to settle in this valley. Howl: Art & Literary Journal celebrates the creative work of UNM-Taos students, staff, and faculty, as well as the greater community of Taos.
UNM-Taos invites students, alumni, faculty, staff and greater community of Taos to submit works of art, video, and writing.
